Dome Console

The console is on the top of the desk in the middle of the 36" floor. The console houses most of the electronic controls used on the 36" telescope. This includes dome lighting, floor control, clock drive control, shutter control, and dome rotation. It also houses a UTC and sidereal clocks and a several pieces of no longer supported equipment.

The drawers of the desk contain useful items, such as the eyepieces, logbook, star lists, current Astronomical Almanac, Norton's Sky Atlas, red flashlights, red light bulbs, and miscellaneous tools. Please return items to the same drawer from which they were found.
