    "Available Hours" is defined as the period between 12-degree twilight and 12-degree dawn.

    "Hours Worked" is defined as time actually spent with the 3-meter telescope open to the sky, beginning with the first setting of the night and ending when the dome is closed.

    In some cases, the time worked exceeds 100% of the time available, reflecting work begun before 12-degree twilight and/or continued after 12-degree dawn.

    These graphs do not include data for August-December 1996.
